Former VENOM Members Join Forces In PRIME EVIL
August 11, 2010Former VENOM members Jeff "Mantas" Dunn (guitar),Antony "Antton" Lant (drums; brother of VENOM frontman Conrad "Cronos" Lant) and Tony "The Demolition Man" Dolan (bass, vocals) have joined forces in a brand new band called PRIME EVIL. The group is currently working on material for its debut album, tentatively due in 2011. The CD will feature a guest appearance by another former VENOM member, guitarist Mike Hickey, who may also join the band's touring lineup.

"Prime Evil" was the name of VENOM's sixth studio album, which came out in 1989 and was the first to feature Dolan on vocals.
VENOM's current lineup consists of Conrad "Cronos" Lant on bass/vocals, Rage on guitar and Danny "Danté" Needham (TONY MARTIN) on drums.
